Airbus Group wanted to build a pilot training facility with full flight simulators along with pilot training rooms. In addition to the pilot training facility, Airbus wanted to build its Headquarters in the same building facility on the upper floors. 

The design of the facility has been done over 1 acre of land and is in close proximity to the Terminal 3 Airport in New Delhi. The close proximity to the airport has brought its own challenges in the planning, design and execution of the facility, 

The building design draws inspiration from the tail of an aircraft and has been designed to give a close proximation as well as to create a symbolic connect with an aircraft for everyone visiting and leaving the airport.

The interior design has further taken careful consideration to the technical requirements for the technical spaces of the training facility, like the Full Flight Simulators; while ensuring an intrinsic care to the design and materiality. The headquarters have been planned in an open concept with wide open collaborative spaces for team interactions, while the cabins for the senior leadership has been planned along the periphery overlooking the runway and airport premises.
